Ella has been in dance for about a year now, since last summer. Today was her first recital! They have been working so hard on their dance at class. However, Ella got so shy at dance rehearsal last week that I thought she would for sure shy up and not dance...or even make it on stage! Ella sure did surprise us! She did so well! She danced the whole time and looked SO ADORABLE! Enjoy these photos from our evening!
All dolled up and ready to go! |
Her cheer team, plus Paul and I of course. |
We were trying to get a photo of Ella and a couple girls in her class before dance. Her face here made me somewhat nervous as to how her behavior would be during the show! |
This is right before I left her to go find my seat! Ah- I was nervous! |
All the little dancers sat right on stage and then just got up and danced when it was their turn. Everything was organized and put together so well! |
Sitting down, waiting their turn! |
Ready to dance! So cute! |
Their dance was called the Banana Split Bridge. The theme of the show was Candyland. The whole thing was just adorable! |
Concentrating on their moves :) |
Then everyone in the show did a dance together at the end. Super cute! |
Ella was rewarded with a ballerina teddy bear from Gammy and flowers from daddy! She couldn't have been more thrilled! |
Love this photo! |
So proud of our little girl! She is just growing up way too fast! |
These are two phone photos that I had to share! I just love them!
This was at dance rehearsal. All the little girls in Ella's class are so cute and fun! |
This was from tonight. My favorite! |
