Big Change!

Well the New Year has brought a pretty big change to our household.  Paul recently got a new job and will be working from home!  Yep, you heard it right, he will be working from home.  This new position will have a home office.  He will be traveling some, and I'm sure is already looking forward to that ;)  We are both very excited for this change!  The new job is with a great company and will be a fantastic opportunity for him and for our family.

Paul traveled all of last week for training.  The girls and I had a super busy week by ourselves.  We kept busy, but were sure ready for daddy to be home by Friday evening!

We are technically only on our 4th day of the working from home part and I must say so far, so good.  The only thing I have had to deal with is "Mommy, why can't I go work in the basement with daddy?" about a hundred times per day.  Ella is used to being able to help Paul when it comes to fixing things and "working" around the house.  It is difficult to explain the difference of that and working at a job to a three year old.  It has been exceptionally nice to have the morning and early evening help with the girls.  Paul used to travel 45 minutes to and from work each day so having that extra time with him has been nice.

Since I have no photos to go along with my post, and not that I will ever probably have photos of Paul working from home, I decided to post some recent phone photos!  There are a lot of them since I was constantly taking photos to send Paul of the girls while he was gone.  Enjoy!

This is of Hailee and was actually taken right before Christmas.  I've started putting H&H on the potty to get used to it.  Neither has gone yet, but they sure do love sitting there!

Hannah was in a zone.  Still sleepy I think.

Hannah in a Cinderella dress, with a chef apron and hat, and sunglasses.  You just never know what you'll get around here!

Ella's first haircut!  Yep, first haircut at 3 years old.  She did great and loved it!

While daddy is gone, the girls will play (or shop).  Doesn't get much better than shopping at Target and eating cake pops :)  Ella made this crown in school and didn't take it off for two days straight.

One evening I took the girls for frozen yogurt and met a friend and her son.  Hailee decided to finish off her and Hannah's yogurt.  Love this photo of her!

Every.single.morning H&H stand at the toaster, pointing and yelling until their waffles are done.  It's really relaxing and comforting (insert sarcasm).

Hailee all of a sudden loves getting her photo taken.  I tried to get this one just of Ella to send to Paul.  Hailee ran right in front and gave a big cheese.  Notice the crown was out again this morning.

Sweet, lovely little Hannah.  My easy baby (for this week anyways).

Big smiles before school!

Hailee was reading this little book to her baby doll.  It was one of the top 10 cutest things I'd ever seen.

They have their own way of playing in tents.  This was an early birthday gift for them from a friend of mine and has been a huge hit!

The Band.  Hannah singing into a baby doll bottle, Ella playing the guitar, and Hailee was the backup dancer.

It was so nice one afternoon last week that we got out for a walk!  So fun!

You can't watch Sofia the First (a new Disney show that Ella LOVES) without all of your princesses lined up next to you!

Another photo bomb by Hailee.  I tried to get this picture of Hannah pretending to sleep in Ella's bed.  Hailee jumped right in and gave me a huge cheese.  Good thing she's cute ;)

Daddy's away, the girls will play!

This past Saturday Paul went to a concert all afternoon and evening.  We had went to a birthday party in the morning as a family, came home, got the girls down for naps, and Paul left.  Well, the girls had other plans.  No one slept all but 45 minutes.  Not really what I was expecting.  I had planned on working all afternoon.  So, I got them up and we had a good ol' time around the house!

Eating lunch at the picnic table :)

Hannah and Hailee love going inside and outside, inside and outside.  Kind of looks like they are looking in a mirror, huh?

After dinner treat, Oreos!  Shh, don't tell daddy!

Oreos and bunny crackers with a fork.  Hey, whatever works!

Then they all took a bath to get nice and clean!

Love these towels!

Our little duck!

Then we had a jumping in the crib party!!!!  Definitely don't tell daddy about this one!

Kisses for Hannah

Ella wasn't so sure..

FUN! :)
You may have noticed the cute pear t-shirts that the twins had on in the previous photos.  I bought these for the Fall season for them and they say Perfect Pear on the bottom.  Super cute, what perfect twin shirts!  Well, the morning of the party we dressed the girls and made a big deal of their new shirts, saying how cute they are, etc.  Ella then wanted a pear shirt too.  I felt so bad.  I got out all these other new school shirts for her and she wanted nothing to do with any of them.  "Me pear shirt too mommy!", she kept crying :(  This seriously broke my heart.  I knew the day would come when she got jealous of something twin related.  I couldn't help but shed some tears myself.  Paul thought I was crazy for getting so upset about it.  I even went as far as calling the store I got them at to see if they had any shirt with a pear on it that we could go buy really quick.  No such luck.  She wanted a shirt with pears on it so bad.  She finally settled for a new school outfit and probably forgot about the whole thing within minutes.  I am still dwelling on it.  Ha!  Isn't that just how mom's are?  Note:  The outfit in the photos is not the new school outfit that Ella wore to the party.  This girl now changes her clothes about 4 times per day.  No joke.  Every time she goes upstairs and comes back down she is in a different outfit, different bow or headband, different shoes or some princess dress.  Then I go up and there is 3-4 dresses all over her room that she must have gotten out and decided not to wear.  I remember doing this type of thing in middle school.  Hmmm....

Remember the ugly blue carpet we had in out family room for a long time?  It has been in many photos before, like this one:

Well, we finally got rid of it!  I am loving how our new toy organization looks!  The girls seem to love it too!!!!

Just another summer day :)

I haven't posted any random photos of the girls lately.  They are all just getting so big.  Hannah and Hailee are not babies anymore and are really now little toddlers.  For some reason, I am already sad about Ella's 3rd birthday coming up this year.  It isn't until September, but I can't help myself but think about the fact that we will have a THREE year old!  That seems so old! ((tear))

Anyways, we had a nice little summer day today.  Spent time at home (which we probably need to do more of), went to the park, came home and played outside.  Days like today make me love being a stay at home mom.  I love that I get to spend so much time with my girls.  Talk to me on another day and I will probably have a whole different frame of mind.  Ha.  Either way, today was a good day.  Oh, and it ended with a somewhat impromptu girl's night out with a couple of my very best friends.  Can't get much better than that!  Enjoy some photos from our afternoon at the park!

Hailee

Sisters <3

Guess which one is Hailee?  (Hint: look at the bellies:)

Hannah (love those lips!)

Ella, still loving the baby swing!

Hannah trying to figure out how to rock climb..

Hailee, plotting a scheme (see below)

Everyone running away from mommy! (the photos taken after this one of me chasing them would've been quite funny, I'm sure.)

Then Ella decided to climb this big pile of mulch..

and Hailee thought she too, could climb the big pile!

What do you know, somebody got stuck,

and tried to slide down on her belly.

Then Hannah lost a shoe,

and once she found it,

her sister lost hers too.  I think at this point it was time to head home!

Chalk time!

Even the babes love a little drawing! (Look at their orange hair!  Some days it seems so red, we can't believe it!)
