Halloween Festivities

This past Saturday we went to Boo at the Zoo.  Ella had so much fun getting her first taste of what trick-or-treating is all about!  People were going crazy over our kid's costumes..."Look at that cute Little Bo Peep!...Oh my gosh, look at the adorable sheep behind her!!!!"

Bo Peep and her sheep

Monday night was our trick-or-treat.  I could not have even imagined that Ella would be as cute and funny as she was.  We started the night off by a few photos out front of our house.  We headed down the the Kelly's for our first stop then headed back this way and stopped at houses on our way back.  Ella made it to about 25-30 houses!  She did not want to stop!  Paul and I decided we would all go to see Ella for her first treating and then all come back about half way through to pass out candy together.  Uncle Ryan came along with us too.  Ella was so cute going from house to house.  If there was some scary statue or something else of the sort, she just stared the other way and kept her eye on the next house with candy.  She picked Tootsie Rolls out of each bowl that had them.  People were giving her lots of extra candy, saying that she deserved more because of her cute costume.  They would say "Oh, Little Bo Peep, where are your sheep?"  She would then point back to the stroller that Hannah and Hailee were in :)

Trick-or-Treat!

When we got back to the house from trick-or-treating Ella had just as much fun passing out candy.  She sat in her seat with the bowl and handed candy out to each treater.  When there was a lull in kids coming by, she ran down to the end of the drive way and started "advertising" waving the candy around in the air until more kids came.  It was SO funny to say the least!

Uncle Ryan and Ella.  Ella not looking too happy about being done trick-or-treating until she found out how much fun passing out candy is!

Our Fam.  Looks like Ryan maybe should've used the flash on this one :)

  1. So funny that Ella picked tootsie rolls. Hannah kept picking suckers. Jon was trying to convince her to get the "good" candy and she'd say "no, daddy - I just want a sucker." Boo (for us!)!
